VIAGRA: THE POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS

Viagra is prescribed in standard 50 mg doses and is taken no more than an hour before an encounter. If you have a more severe case of ED, your doctor may recommend a higher dose. Viagra has been reported to cause very mild headaches. Other possible side effects can include facial flushing or gastrointestinal disturbances, minor problems that quickly subside. In addition, it should be noted that Viagra cannot be used if you’re taking nitrate-based drugs, because of adverse side effects.

In my trials with Vasomax, men took the lowest available dose, 40 mg, thirty minutes before an anticipated sexual encounter. For men with more advanced ED, the dose was increased to 80 mg. Although Vasomax can produce side effects, the one that has been most commonly reported—a stuffy nose—subsides within an hour.

I tell the patient to contact me immediately if he is suffering any severe or unusual reaction to the medication. One person may be more sensitive to a drug than others. Informing me if anything amiss occurs allows me to make adjustments in the dosage at once. For most men, however, there are no unusual or serious side effects. These medications are stable, fast-acting, and directed specifically to the penis. As I have seen many times, as soon as a patient becomes physiologically adjusted to the drugs, his concerns about side effects evaporate. For him, it’s just like taking an aspirin.
